Julie was born in Shanghai China. She is a graduate of Shanghai Teachers College as a grade one primary teacher and taught Mandarin and Mathematics in China for eight years. Julie came to Auckland, New Zealand in 1997 and taught the Mandarin language for two years. Julie is married and has one daughter. Julie has a sound knowledge of the building industry, gained from working in a property development business for two years. She says “I can organize the building of a house from the footings and foundations to a home ready to be lived in”. Julie has a warm out going personality.
