If we have not already met, please let me take a few moments to briefly introduce myself.
I was born in Singapore but have been a New Zealander for the last 10 years. Prior to relocating to New Zealand, I graduated from University and worked for Singapore Airlines. My next career move took me to a major shipping company. As part of the senior management team, I was responsible for 20 shipping agencies with a huge annual turnover.
Since 2002, I have managed my own property investment company, which bought and sold a number of properties all over Auckland. This portfolio included rentals, trades, subdivisions, building of new homes, refurbishments, alterations, additions and minor dwelling units.
I have also been involved in a great deal of property sourcing, which is a highly specialized service, carried out on behalf of investor buyers focused on value purchases. As a real estate salesperson, I have worked alongside many owners and buyers, dealing in all types of property, in various suburbs.
This wide range of experience in the real estate industry has been invaluable. I have been a customer, client, landlord, property manager, project manager, investor, developer, trader, and real estate salesperson, and am therefore able to wear many different hats. My focus is on delivering the appropriate service each client requires.
