Prior to real estate Karen enjoyed a career in accountancy. Her background has enabled her to develop effective skills including money handling, investing and return on investment skills.
In 1994 Karen decided to join real estate as she could help friends and new immigrants find their dream home in New Zealand. Karen soon joined Barfoot & Thompson Papatoetoe because of the big network of people and the many branches. Karen has enjoyed her real estate career so far and says that her proudest moments are when her many past clients recommend their friends to Karen. The repeat and referral business Karen enjoys is a testament to her dedicated service.
Outside of her real estate career Karen enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two adult sons.
